Silver School

Design Concept

An interface for two. To provide insight into the program and present a compelling differentiator to other social work schools in New York City. We opened up the user-interface into two pathways, one for prospective students and the other for enrolled students. This simple solution enabled a parent or prospective student quick insight into everything the school offers and simultaneously imagine themselves as students.

Visual Design

The content-driven visual design direction comprises clean and straightforward typography—a mixture of the school’s institutional typeface and the university’s branding font. The combination of typography and three-color palette design affords us a holistic presentation between mobile and desktop.

User Experience and User Interface Research

An exploration of the curtain interface uses micro-interactions as a visual guide to the content hierarchy. All the animations and prompts move vertically up and down, from the navigation to promotional banners and carousel. The unfurling curtain interface reinforces the program’s open concept as it reveals the menu items.
